Treatment Approaches

Total Thyroidectomy

For papillary and follicular thyroid cancer > 1cm.

Hemithyroidectomy

For low-risk papillary cancers < 1cm — avoids lifelong thyroid medication in some patients.

Radioiodine Ablation

Coordinated with endocrinology post-operatively for appropriate cases.
